Hi

I want my site to look like the demo site Joomla! Templates, Joomla! Extensions and Wordpress Themes Demo

Where you see the modules with a white foreground and gray back ground.

My site currently appears with the body and modules all in one white area. I want the grey background to surround the modules and header, footer etc. How do I create that effect?

Thank you

Hello dtarver.

You can change the bg of the body inside the color.css file line #31.

background:#f3f3f3;

Thank you.

Hi... I am not looking to change the body background color. I want to space out the modules like you have then in the demo page. Where is that done please?

this is current grid
Grids Preview

those custom white bgs are mod suffix that works only on the grids that have no bg , or should I say are gray

if you add module suffix bym they will have white bg and border

adding module suffix bym

to modules inside grid1,grid2,grid4 and grid5 will make those modules have white bg

are you looking for that module style or are you looking to change the body background color?

The module background color is already white. The demo link I provided shows modules with a white background on the module and gray in the body. Can you see the demo to understand? The modules are inside a body that has a grey background. The modules in the demo are also nicely spaced out. I want to have a similar look on my site.

Thank you

Please read again neo's post, that is what you should do in order to get the same look as on our demo.

Thank you.
