Quick question. I just installed the YouRetro template. I love it but I had a hard time choosing between a few templates. There were a couple others that had some really cool extensions (I think that's what they're called) on them. As a Gold Member, am I allowed to download them and add them to this template? If so, can you please point me in the right direction? If not, is there a way to purchase them? (I saw the extension section but I'm not sure how to find what I'm looking for.)

The two that I'm really interested in are the stay connected on YouSold and the 10 image boxes on the YouToons template.

Please advise. Thanks!

Hi

As a Gold Member you can download all extensions and use on your sites.

I don't see the "Stay Connected" on YouSold, perhaps you can be a bit more specific?

The 10 images in YouToons are K2 items in The YouYork Module Slider

When you see cool Extensions in YJ Templates, you just need to find the button in the demo called Extras, and you will see the modules used in the template

Note, if you use for example the YouYork Module slider in another template, it will have Default layout but it is very easy to make your own CSS changes to make it look like you want it to.

That's exactly what I needed to know. The get connected had the twitter, facebook, pinterest, etc. buttons. I'll find it. Thank you!

Sorry I didn't see the Stay Connected first

This is actually Custom Html module (default Joomla)
where you can add in the class and css into any template (just use any images you want for social buttons)

Again, if you use Firebug, you can have it help you to do this

<div class="yj_socials"> in the html of the module

in layout.css
.yj_socials {
display: block;
height: 20px;
padding: 15px 0;
}

example of the html code for the Youtube button:
(in the html in the module editor)

Quote:
<a target="_blank" href="http://www.youtube.com/">
<img width="20" height="18" src="/yousold/images/stories/youtube.png" alt="youtube" style="margin-right: 20px; float: left;">
</a>

That's very helpful! Thank you!

I did what you said to look under extras for the extensions and I noticed that the youyork module slider is the same that's on the youretro slider. Is it just that there is only one row on the youretro and two rows on the youtoons or is it a separate slider?

Luck would definitely be on my side if it's the same thing! LOL
