Missing layout.php file in youjoomla template - youfitness

I'm having an issue on friends site I was just asked to fix. He is running J2.5 with the YouFitness template. he has a virtuemart store which appears to function normally except that when we go to a product page you get a blank white page instead. Show errors shows that it is looking for a template file that is apparently missing from the template.

Specifically the errors are:
Quote:
Warning: Division by zero in /........./templates/youfitness/yjsgcore/lib/yjsg_loadgrids.php on line 237

Warning: require(/........../templates/youfitness/layouts/layout.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /.........../templates/youfitness/index.php on line 63

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/..../templates/youfitness/layouts/layout.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php') in /....../templates/youfitness/index.php on line 63
In that layouts folder there are layout1.php, layout2.php, and layout3.php but no plain layout.php.

Of course, my friend paid some other (now defunct) developer to build the site so she does not have access to the template installer files nor does she have a login for the YouTheme support site. Since I don't have a subscription I decided to ask for help here.

Anyone know what do to? Anyone happen to have a copy of that one missing file? Or is this some kind of a bug I am not seeing?

Are you sure your are posting in product assigned forum?: Yes

What is your CMS version?: Joomla 2.5

MySQL Version: 5.x

PHP version: 5.x

Link to installation: Home

Have you edited any files? If yes tell us which ones.: No

Is this personal or client website?: Client

your friend has active subscription so he/she should ask in template assigned forum
My friend does not have the subscription, the old developer does. The problem is that the developer that bought the template and built the original site is no longer my friend's developer. He did not provide the template file or any login credentials for YouJoomla to my friend and apparently is not going to do so. That is the reason I am coming here. Is there any way we can get assistance with this short of the rather unfair method of forcing my friend to pay for a copy of a template she already purchased?

We are not forcing anyone to pay anything. looks to me that your friend hired a developer who purchased the template for them and made it custom. It was his full right to do so. Your friend should have gotten the files from developer before he fired him. There is really nothing we can do. The product was sold to developer and you should talk to him.

I'm sorry to be a pain on this...

I'd be happy to buy a new copy of the template if you can tell me for certain one very simple thing. In the layout folder of that template is there a layout.php file (not layout1)?

Since you don't offer refunds for purchased templates I can't really suggest to my client that she spend the money on buying a new copy of it unless I am sure that the file is there. If there is a layout.php file then we will obviously go ahead and buy a new copy of the template since that is the only way we will be able to get the store up and running.

If the file is not there then obviously the problem lies elsewhere, probably in Virtuemart. Right now though all signs point to a missing template file from YouFitness being the culprit.

I'm not asking for you to fix the problem, just tell me if the YouFitness theme has a layout.php file in the /youfitness/layouts folder.

My sincere thanks. I know this is a strange request...

Hello maestroc.

Sorry for the delay.

Inside the layout folder in Youfitness template are files like layout1.php ,layout2.php and layout3.php , there is no file called layout.php only.
