Duplicate Key entry Joomla Demo install

I get the following message after installing joomla on the live production server (got the same thing even after local install):

Duplicate entry '10' for key 'PRIMARY' SQL=INSERT INTO jos_core_acl_aro VALUES (10,'users','62',0,'Administrator',0)

I looked into the joomla database using phpymyadmin but I didn't see any duplicates for this key. Any idea what is wrong with the install or how to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance guys

Hi - This is a known issue. It does not affect anything, and that is likely why nothing has been done to correct the situation. In this specific case, it is safe to disregard this error.

Jay, thanks, I really appreciate your help. I thought I was doing something drastically..drastically wrong...that made me scratch my head so many times... especially when...during some installs...the duplicate key warning didn't appear. Well...its appeasing to know this is not a bug or some major issue with the core itself. Once again, thanks Jay

P.S. to give you a heads up on what I did after install: I deleted the original user administrator from the joomla admin and created a new one...thinking that might.. somewhat.. avoid any complications down the line.

Hi - As you noted, some installations do this and some don't. Doing what you did after install was unnecessary; however, it doesn't hurt anything, either.
