Problem with Joomlaworks Simple Image Gallery Pro

I have just installed the latest Elegance template (and wonderful it is). The problem is that the SIG Pro plugin from Joomlaworks that was installed to display my photographs no longer functions. The image thumbnails display correctly however, on clicking the image it simply licks to the full size image without the flashy display properties of the plugin. If I switch back to another template it again functions correctly. Any ideas why this might be happening? Is it a config problem? Thanks, Martin

Hello Martin, please note that we do not guarantee that all 3rd party plugins will work with our templates, as for SIG it contains prototype which is not compatible with mootools, Elegance has its own javascript that might interfere with SIG, why dont you use the Image Slider?

Hmmm .. the SIG Pro provides a nice way of displaying thumbnails within an article. Clicking on the thumbnail launches SIG which then presents the full-size image. You can then close the image or click previous/next as appropriate to move through the gallery. Can the Image Slider present thumbnails within articles? Thks for prompt reply by the way. Martin

It uses something called Slimbox (based on Mootools). Looks like im outta luck. If I cannot get SIG pro to work, can you suggest an alernative that will work with Elegance? Martin

Aha - there are two other options in SIG pro, Lytebox and JQuery. Both of these work with Elegance. Thank goodness, as I really wanted this to be a happy marriage! Thanks for your help. This may be useful for other users. Martin

I thought so . I know that guys from Joomlaworks are great and they would not have released a module without testing with several templates. I am glad that this worked out.
Best regards
