Cannot get FTP demo to function

Firstly, the knowledgebase instructions are badly written and mispelled.

This is a second domain on my server. My first website is running on an old and simple joomla template.

I cannot use the extensions upload for the demo templates, they are too large and must be ftp'd.

I have enabled the ftp on the configuration page with tproper settings (127, username, password, port 21, etc).

I FTP the files to my site. Once I "discover" them using the template manager, I generate errors about the "details" file.

The files are setting on my server, but there is something wrong with the configuration - i'm missing CSS files, the files are showing as incomplete or empty on the templates manager/templates page.

I have tried four template demos. I unzip them, ftp them to the templates folder under the second domain's file, "discover" them. And get nothing but missing files, errors. What am I missing?

If you want to install the template only you have to do it throught the extension insallter, and it will not give your the notice that the file is to big because that is just the template. And if you are trying to install the demo through the installer that can't be done.
