How to make module position not Collapsible

Hello

This will apply to any of the templates.

Can I make the template non Collapsible, meaning that if nothing is published in a position it will still keep its place in the template?

If this is possible, can I do some module positions and not others?

This is what I would like to accomplish:

I would like to use an image as the background for the entire page and the put content in selected module position, so that the content will blend with the background.

Is this possible.

Thanks

not collapsible module positions are in yjsg structure not doable and not desired , why would you have an empty space if the re is no content there?

body bg can be aplied to body tag via css , it is completely normal css
try

body{
background:red;
}

in custom.css

Hello Slowlyjam.

You can use the module engine for that content on the left.
For the right you can use the multimedia box if your are using the images only(for the images) and custom html module.

Thank you.
