I have a few questions regarding this theme which I have put off as I hate to post without looking around, anyway I searched the forums and nothing specific answers my queries, I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

In regards to formatting on the yournews template on the left under the editors pick where you can see 4 categories the top one being more from county news and the second being lodge & district notices, I seem to have a problem with the formatting of the pictures, I noticed when editing an article that there appears to be a small space between the picture and text, but when I edit one of these or place in a new article with a picture the gap disappears and the formatting on the homepage as you can see from here isn't correct: Welcome to the Frontpage How can I correct this?

Also editors pick, I have looked all over and I cannot find where to change the text yournews editor's pick.

Another small problem when I click into here Example of Category Blog layout (FAQs/General category) I see "Example of Category Blog layout (FAQs/General category)" I cannot find where to change this either, its not in section manager, category manager or articles?

Lastly how do I change welcome to the frontpage on the homepage

Hi - In response to your questions, please see my answers:

1) My apologies; however, I am not certain what you are stating/asking here.

2) Admin control panel, Module Manager, You News Slider (unless renamed from demo), Parameters, Slider Title.

3) Not real clear on this one either. It appears you have a link from the URL Lodge & District Information to this URL Example of Category Blog layout (FAQs/General category). This URL appears to be a category list layout, despite what the URL says about a blog layout.

4) Admin control panel, Menus, Main Menu, Home, Parameters (System), Page Title.

Thank you for responding, I was pretty tired last night and managed to solve some of it after I had posted but then headed to bed and forgot to post, I'm still having some issues with number 1 and 3 and I will try to explain a little better.

On the example site I posted I have this error:
Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in /home/cglglas/public_html/portal/modules/mod_yj_ns10/mod_yj_ns10.php on line 59

Thats not the issue, under that you can see 5 stories and 5 images at the side of the stories, if you click on each story to show each image you will see that under pre installed images there is text and it looks a lot neater than under my examples which has no text, this is despite me just changing the preinstalled example pages with my own pictures and content, I have tried looking at the editor in different views but it is the exact same code however it shows completely different.

For number 3 basically I want rid of the text Example of Section Blog layout (FAQ section) within those pages.

I hope I have explained things a bit better.

There is only two options within joomla admin panel - TinyMCE2.0 and no editor. I use TinyMCE option.

If you download more advanced editor like for example JCE, you get better control over things like images and text in your articles.
It is very easy to add margins to the images and align them to the text using JCE.

Here is a link to JCE download if you want to take a look.

JCE - Joomla! Extensions Directory

@ Hecter I installed the JCE editor as part of my testing. I will leave it when I am done so you can check it out.

I resized the image and created a new copy of the "Angola arms traffickers convicted" article that used this image. The images must be sized to fit the slider and the border styling that is applied. Too tall or wide, and they won't look proper in the slider.

@ Hecter Regarding item 3, Admin control panel, Menus, Example Pages, Category Blog, Parameters (System), Page Title. Or you can set 'Show Page Title' to "No", which is what I did.
