Baseline template menu on mobile device

I have tried the demo of the BASELINE template at the joujoomla site.
On a computer, the menu works as expected: nice dropdown menu.
But on a mobile device (i.e. Samsung S4, several browsers) the submenu items appear just as a long - and ugly - list with radiobuttons, no fold-unfold behaviour, accordeon actions.
Does this mean the baseline template does not have these features on mobile devices, or can it be customised?

The first screenshot is taken from baseline-demo on windows where the dropdown-menu looks neat and modern.
The second one is from mobile device where it seems like being warped back
in time facing only a very long, unpractical list.

Is there a way in Baseline to overcome this?

"Back in time" is all about the user's experiënce, I mean when you switch form baseline menu on the laptop to Android mobile, same site, same minute. But I guess a dropdown/accordeon is not possible within Baseline on Android.
