server host say that modules are not compatble with php 5.4

Hi,

i just uploaded my site to a hosting company and they say that the below modules, plugins eg... have to be updated to version php 5.4
the site works perfect on a server with v 5.3


are they Right?

i get this errors in my error log when using php 5.4 any ideas how these can be fixed for php 5.4

that worked fine but when will you update these modules for php 5.4? i think is very small thing to do.

is not module issue , it is php 5.4 and up strict error reporting
you have same thing on some default joomla classes

there is nothing to be "fixed" it is a mix of coding and error reporting , strict ,
it was not coded strict , if the extensions dont work or have something that need fixing than you would have errors regardless what error reporting is setup .
no one says dont display errors , just turn of strict, that is all

error_reporting = E_ALL; //everything but strict

thx Neo for your time.

just made some test on my server and notice that this code error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE & ~E_STRICT will not disable the warnings in php v. 5.5

just to let you know in before hand.
