Template not loading

Hi,
I have applied the youhostit template on one of my websites. I was working fine until now. I am getting a white page. if I apply another template it works fine. so it must be something in the Youhostit template.

I faced with this after I added 1 menu item.. nothing else.

website : Flight Safety

Please advice.

Hi - I just tried to visit your site using the information you provided. Each time I try to enter the site, I am returned to the "This site is down for maintenance. Please check back again soon." page.

Hi - Thanks for enabling the site. :) You are right, there is no code in the pages. This is usually indicative of an error code 500, or internal server error. Can you enable display errors on your server? This should allow you to see the specific error(s).

kyriacoullisg 06-11-2010 06:11 AM

oh!
i do not have access on the server. I have to talk with my hosting provider for that.Is there any other option to check?

jaycburton 06-11-2010 06:20 AM

Hi - Your hosting provider should know how to do this, if they will. However, if they don't, have them edit php.ini and change "display_errors" and "display_startup_errors" to "On". After they do that, view your site. You should see some error message(s).

I turned on the error reporting in Joomla and I can now see the errors can you visit the page now and give feedback?

Hi - Nothing I saw that jumped out at me. You said this all started happening right after you created one new menu item. What happens if you unpublish or delete that item? Does the problem still exist?
